Hoh Campground Surround yourself with moss and ancient trees in this temperate rain forest. There is a dump station and water fill on site. Hunting or disturbing wildlife is prohibited in national parks. Fortunately, the safe haven extends beyond the water’s edge. We were able to get a great site on a weekday during our off-season April visit when the campground does not take reservations.

Group campers in Sol Duc Campground. Most of the spots are somewhat forested, but there are a few with ocean views. Although campsites are not directly on the beach, several of them overlook capmground water and there is beach access within the facility. Everything in our camp became damp over the week. The price is a bit high for a site with no hookups, but the location is pretty great on the beach, as well as for access to the park.
