Of course the book had issues: This guy is hopelessly lost with his goo-goo eyes for Amanda and Amanda only. Shenanigans ensue — Amanda is contracted to be Liam’s fake girlfriend. And I suppose it doesn’t hurt that the story reads like a soap opera. I couldn’t have enjoyed this book more and I am very anxiously waiting for the kee.

Sooooo, this is fun. Jack told Amanda a story that she used in the to show she was working for. Aug 16, Liz rated it really liked it.

HDU Series

Thus she spends her days indoors on her laptop as a moderator known as PrettyKitty29 on HDU, a popular inria gossip site, entertaining herself with the more glamorous lives of celebrities rather than facing her own life.

The actual relationship between Liam and Amanda. Amanda NathanLiam Brody. But I would have liked more closure!

I agree with other reviewers about appreciating Liam’s devotion in this book. In addition, it’s nice to cheer for a female lead who’s a decent person, and not passive aggressive or too perfect about it. I would have loved to have seen what Amanda had planned for Casey always knew she was a manipulative biatch who could only ever think of herself, what hdk cow! I think I may add India Lee to my list of favorite authors.

India Lee Books

Preview — Dirt by India Lee. Unemployed and alone, Amanda relishes in the one thing she has control over — Hollywood gossip. I was recently tipped off about llee little gossip community. What the heck happened? The premise of the book is very fanfic-like in how over the top improbable it is.

Especially having Liam around in the story at all.

She also suffers from what the book keeps pointing out is wrong with Casey – she’s so fucking boring you guys. It is so gross, and even though I already hated Connor, this discussion cemented him as The Worst. Jun 06, Jaz rated it liked it Shelves: Instead, Amanda’s rather ordinary; she has a sense of humour, a university degree she’s not sure what to do with, and not completely fashion inept but definitely not without her awkward moments, and is basically addicted to the internet.

We love Ian despite his flaws because underneath le all, he’s a true and genuine friend. My only big complaint was formatting: I really liked Ian in the beginning, was disappointed in him throughout most of the rest of the book, but hopefully he’ll redeem himself more later.

Maybe this was supposed to be a happy ending or whatever, but it just made me depressed. The scenes with the writing team had me laughing out loud and throwing my fist in the air for all of her snarky comebacks. Refresh and try again.

ibdia To me, it felt like she was looking down on the “glamorous” world. Lre is a jerk, but not unforgivably so, and the book does actually manage to turn him around in a way that seems natural. She got by in HDU without barely having to do a thing as far as a job goes. I love Amanda and Ian, and Liam was given a bigger part in this book which was great.

The conclusion of Liamanda’s story! People where shocked which put a downer in the next movie that Liam was working on. I loved Liam and Amanda together. Hru I loved in the first book is back in full force in this one yes, including the womanizing douchelord aka Liam Brody who is not so womanizing nor is he a douchelord.

If I’m not mistaken this was out or at least written before people started trying to make that ridiculous category happen. I find it annoying more than anything.

Dirt (HDU, #2) by India Lee

Seriously, I don’t know what Amanda was thinking when she dressed up for “work”. I just wish I could control everything Indiz does and says so she never does anything stupid. She could be a lb. But hey, inda strokes. She actually started out a little depressing for me, and after what happened to her with her ex-BFF, I guess that’s understandable.

Oct 17, Mandie Kok rated it it was ok. The author really kept me guessing with him.

Liam noticed her right away. I don’t think I was bitchy enough. Like, even Short verdict:
