Although there are no clearly visible plotholes those corks covering them are sadly of poor quality. And while his stories are completely unbelievable, they are also entertaining. I am still undecided about whether he actually liked it, or just wanted me to read it for a good laugh. The plot is a little overpopulated by characters and the twists are a bit too many to become coincidental.
Just when I thought when dan brown was going to describe the church, bingo, Spanish church. Brown went with his writing. In the epilogue, it is revealed that Numataka is Ensei Tankado’s father. Maybe deserves at “3. Brown is currently at work on a new book as well as the Columbia Pictures film version of his most recent novel. With his unique use of codes and puzzles he creates a wonderful mystery, where the reader is taken on a suspenseful journey. So, this book glued me from start to finish. Characters were bit shallow and the whole story is bit bland. I just felt irritated cause it made the characters look very stupid. Too many spoilers involved. It was disgusting, yes, but also treated poorly in the storyline. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.
I’m a fan of the Da Vinci code series – I like the cryptographic elements and the character of Robert Langdon, so I never understood the negative criticism of Dan Brown as a writer while I was enjoying those novels. There are lots of twists and turns and heaps of action – often suspending reality, but fun nevertheless!
For honour, country and love? Another thing that gave me a bit of a headache were the constant twists in the story that would then twist back on itself again. But there are serious incongruities in the book. So you do i You know how some days you just feel like eating candy?

I’m willing to accept that stock thrillers such as this are rife with hackneyed descriptions of people, in particular women, such as Brown’s “sexy” depiction of Fletcher. Computer science does not seem to be doing good for this author.

It assumes you agree with the NSA and that you beleive they should have access to everyone’s data.
Secondly, again I agree with the villain to a certain extent I have always loved Dan’s ability in keeping the reader on the edge and making him too run against the time to solve the puzzles and unveil the mystery. Sure, his choice of attire in his jacket photos turtleneck and blazer makes him look stuffy and pretentious, but maybe it was just “sour grapes?
It gets so annoying that I seriously eye-rolled several times. It brute force cracks the codes on the average of 6 minutes. Share your thoughts with other customers.
