A neat, concise and readable book on improvement. One Small Step Chapter One: It’s true that there has been recommendations of breaking changes into steps, but this takes it a bit smaller. I was hoping for an inspiring mantra at the end, but the book just sort of tapered off.

The book advocates noticing issues and then taking the smallest steps possible roberg than trying a large-scale change. To God there is nothing small.

Kaizen is actually from Japanese business practice by way of Post WWII American management filozfoia –the idea is that change needn’t be disruptive, it can be small things. Please combine editions of a Robert Maurer’s book. And sometimes it was only 5 or 10 minutes.
If you are a seller for this product, would you like to suggest updates through seller support? I picked this up for a couple of dollars in a sale for the nook, and it reminded me why I don’t like this sort of book.
For me, the best parts of the book are when it focuses on this concept: Based on the Japanese technique of Filozfia, or continuous improvement through small steps, the author lays out a plan that follows that logic. I would argue that every really good book will get you thinking, and some will even get you acting differently. Recently, I ran across the book again and decided to give it another look. Everyone should read this book. Hundreds mwurer examples of Kaizen at work grace roberrt book, as well as quotes from W.
It is not how much we do, but how much love we put into the doing. Although this book was written for the business world, many of the ideas can be followed by many people wanting to make changes in maizen lives.
Jul 01, Ravi rated it really liked it Shelves: Don’t get me wrong, this was a good book in a marginally insightful sense; but I had felt that it was mainly catering towards individuals who required assistance in breaking deeply imbedded habits by the way of very subtle changes to their daily routines.
In situations where a drastic change is difficult or not practical, the principles discussed in this book come very handy. It almost read like an outline of the real book. In ‘small thoughts’ we pratice success through imagination. Take Small Actions Chapter Five: As with many self-help books I’ve read, I felt as though I got the gist of it about halfway through but finished it anyway on principle. To God there is nothing small. One small step truly can change our lives.
