It was big leap of faith for me to even consider the possibility of a happy ending. So, in a daze he goes to the address the letter mentions, learns from the neighbour that Ellie does live there and then he sees her. With only a couple of exceptions, this book was pitch-perfect. After finishing, I’m glad that my hatred with both the main characters progressed into ambivalence.
