She stands apart from what we see as the typical FDLS wife in that she was allowed to get a college education and was able to hold down multiple jobs during her tenure with the cult. Fascinating and crazy, or maybe the order should be reversed. I think anyone other than a man would have to be born into this system, and not know anything different, to consider it a higher order.
