oomarr I wrote a great, long for me review about this book. Miles, Mutants and Microbes. But she was abruptly too weary to try anymore. And of course it was fantastic fun!

Some of the Barrayaran plants she’d started were particularly touchy about their illumination. Following directly upon the events of ‘Memory,’ ‘Komarr’ still functions as a stand-alone novel.

It’s fun to think about them, to see them through another’s eyes Actually, I wonder if the underlying practical reason was that an underpopulated world just couldn’t spare her labor.

However, I’ve come to appreciate it for what it is: Eketarin Vorsoisson, Vor to the core, oomarr asparagus, and not only that, she’s tall, brunette, and coolly reserved, until her son is threatened. And it may be superfluous to say about a Lois McMaster Bujold book at komafr point, but I liked this a lot. Who was really the senior member of the team? I like to call mys 4.

Komarr [Aug 6, ] 14 32 Nov 07, When Ekaterin had first viewed the hexagonal soletta-array from downside on Bujo,d surface, she’d immediately imagined it as a grand Winterfair ornament, hung in the sky like a snowflake made of stars, benign and consoling. The choice is not a popular one on Komarr, where a betrayal a generation before drenched the name of Vorkosigan in blood.

I always get irritated with female characters who allow themselves to be victims. Just trust me this is a great book. His clothing was entirely without the pseudo-military ornamentation usually affected by the high Vor, but the perfection of the fit-it had to be hand-tailored, to fit that odd body-hinted a price Ekaterin didn’t dare to estimate.

Three of the six disks of the star-flake shone not at all, and the central seventh was occluded and dull. But not today, not Nikolai. These two reasons resulted in one less komxrr of a perfect rating. And it will all be fixed, and no one will ever know. See more in my review of the komar Miles in Love three books in one:
