Over the years, the press had tried to tjes up any dirt that might explain his quirkiness, but in spite of their diligence, his background was still pretty sketchy. As Shrek would say, they are like onions – they have layers. What starts as an argument leads to full out anger sex. So some of readers may not like it. This is third in a series and you don’t really need the others to enjoy this one.
Good God, it was no wonder women fell in his wake. Why I read this book: I loved Max for wanting to be a good Dad, and I really liked her Mom too and the way she never gave up on Bernie which was why I was able to finish their story. It was diffucult for me to find a good CR and I can say that this one was among the good ones for graaves. But when she heads to Sweetwater Springs to visit her best friend, Josie slips on a patch of ice, breaks her leg, and suddenly all the balls she’s been juggling come falling down around her.

I ended up loving this story of a redeemable rake and a tough girl who in the end shows she is a woman inside and out. One moment, I was a normal if somewhat germaphobic math teacher getting ready for summer vacation.
But Eve and Rhys are not as alone as they think. One could tell how much her wellbeing meant to her. The rest of the time, Grxves found him funny.
But one wild night with Bernadette changed all that. Graves does an incredible job here and deserves credit for making those moments feel real and differently powerful. Even though the woman wore enough mascara to sink a freighter, Bernie thought she recognized her. Playing glack has never been so tempting But what about all the others? I should confess, I prefered to read it that it would be a qucik, light and avarege read. To self-made millionaire Jeremy Bridges, women are like fine wine: The real question becomes whether or not you can live with lullavies. I love him because he didn’t take gravea too seriously, he could hold his own in a bar fight and he could tangle with the bulkiest of them but he was flirty spice and a total playboy. Jeremy turned to look at the woman in question, who turned out to be the same women he’d seen as he was coming into the hotel.
At least she was ashamed by the way she handled things afterwards. Something that happened in that safe room altered the course of two different lives, Jeremy’s and Bernadette’s. It didn’t so it’s as well that I wasn’t expecting it to.
So how can he convince the fiercely independent Bernadette he’s ready to change from partying playboy to dependable dad–and become the loving husband she deserves?
Her professional history, though, was a different story. I was in the mood for a light contemporary romance.
