Tubes Femmes / Tout Genre – Hoboken Hipster In Sherwood Forest
Mar 16, Amber Gray rated it it was amazing Shelves: Good writing should be able to stand on its own without stupid contrivances, pop culture “jokes”, and juvenile slang.
I found it very amusing and quite the page-turner.
She ends up running into the Legendary Robin Hood. I loved this book, it was funny, fast, and an interesting take on the Robin Hood Myth. Today she works as a freelance TV producer and author of books for teens and adults. Mills rated it liked it Shelves: I really enjoy almost anything Robin Hood but this one had way too many pop culture references that drew away from the story. Robin was such a crybaby. Jun 17, Cher rated it really liked it Shelves: Mari Mancusi used to wish she could become a vampire back in high school.
A funlight read. May 03, Kristin rated it liked it Shelves: Only then could this prince of thieves become king of her heart. Chrissie just needs to check with the gypsy fortuneteller for more instructions. She was annoying, though Robin seemed to find hipstee attractive.
There, the first person she meets is Robin of Locksley. Dec 10, Ngoc-Nu rated it it was amazing. It was interesting to me because I love time travel. Sep 04, Kimchi rated it it was amazing.
My Summary “in general”: Read, highlight, and take notes, across web, tablet, and phone. User Review – Flag as inappropriate Very Funny.

Not the best book I have ever read but not the worst either. It kind of reminds me of “Clueless meets Outlander” but without the angst. Mancusi is excellent at plotting and maintaining tension throughout a tale. Every other sentence has some ridiculous pop culture reference that is entirely unnecessary and only shows how very shallow her character is. This is not good writing.
I enjoyed this book because it has one of my favourite elements, time travel and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. It was an enjoyable read.
Chrissie is a great character, funny and steadfast the entire story though she doesn’t realize her true strength til the end of the book. The real Richard kind of has the same deep foreign voice thing going on, but in the face he more resembles Roger Moore.
Feb 27, Sherri Bryant rated it liked it Shelves: You can find Mari online yipster www.
Robin does kiss Chrissie as a boy, and the way he handles it is well done. I read this as a paperback a few years ago. It just came out on Amazon yesterday and I’m not to happy about the five I gave it. Too funny how this gal gets timewarped and winds up in Sherwood Forest with a goofus Robin Hood.
Though in use longer than I had suspected, neither are appropriate in Sherwood Forest. This book had me laughing out loud in public transportation with tears running down my face.
They’re cute time travel romances. Return to Book Page. Chrissie, said Hoboken Hipster, finds herself a photographic assignment in a Medieval re-enactment faire. Now, I’ll admit that I shouldn’t have given this book a chance, but I had hope that perhaps Fashionista was just pathetic because it was the first and that, with a character who isn’t supposed to be as vapid and shallow, this book would be better.

I guess me at 30 something is rolling my eyes at me at 20 something. I was nearly to the end and thinking to myself that there was no way hoboen story could be wrapped up with so few pages left but to my surprise it didn’t feel rushed at all. I would truly recommend this romance to young adults for it contains mature themes.
